“The Fourth National Gathering
of the Women’s Ministry Network”

was held on the 10th – 12th July, 2009
at The Corner Church, Warradale, SA.

Women and men attended to affirm the ministries of women in the past, encourage ministries in the present, and work towards further opportunities for service in the future.

Our conference theme, The Extravagant Hearth, recalls our wondrous God who creates inclusive community through extravagant grace. The hearth is a place to gather for warmth, genuine caring, community; a place to generate and share creativity, develop relationships, a place that is home.’

    • Raging the Hearth Part I:
      Celebrating 50 years since the commissioning of the first deaconesses
    • Evening Prayer.
  • Saturday 11th July, 9.30 am – 9.30 pm
    • Worship

      worship at St Stephen’s Lutheran Church,
      152 Wakefield Street, Adelaide CBD
    • 12.15 pm
      followed by a shared lunch and close of Gathering.
